The QVC+ and HSN+ streaming experience announced a lineup of programming, including a new show and podcast from Chef Curtis Stone.
On tap from the streaming operations developed by parent Qurate Retail, Stone, the chef behind one of the top-rated brands on HSN, will star in a new, soon-to-be-named streaming show and podcast on HSN+. The show will focus on the intersection of food and culture.
In line with food themes, “Seasoned” celebrates the culinary journeys of accomplished chefs on QVC+ as they share stories of personal challenges, cultural influences and best-kept recipes. Episodes premiere each month and feature cooking luminaries such as Chef Maria Loi, Chef Joe Feldman, Chef Aarti Sequeira, Chef Carla Hall and others. Viewers will discover the techniques and tools used by the chefs.
In other programming, “The Ultimate Gift Wrapping Challenge” will give contestants a chance to put their creative skills to the test and battle it out for the title of Ultimate Gift Wrapping Champion.
Then The Edit, an exclusive curation of top shows, brands and in-depth tutorials on QVC+, provides weekly discovery of the latest in fashion, beauty and home products, among other merchandise categories. Edit programming includes “Curated by Sinéad,” hosted by actress and mom Sinéad de Vries, who will invite viewers into her home to reveal, among other things, favorite gardening tools and timesaving back-to-school necessities. Also upcoming from The Edit is “Feels Like Home with Preston,” hosted by lifestyle expert Preston Konrad, who demonstrates how to make simple design changes, easy at-home meals and attainable additions to reflect individual domestic styles and host with ease. In addition, “The Edit: Gift Guides,” will debut with shopping expert Andrea Presta, who has created a gift guide full of pop culture holiday presents for family, friends, and even oneself.
In another initiative, the Holiday Magic Curated Collections launches November 1 on QVC+ and HSN+, featuring holiday-themed views on meals, seasonal indoor and outdoor decorations, festive fashion and gifts.
In an a feature turn, “The Recipe Files” will debut as an original QVC+ holiday movie produced in collaboration with Nicely Entertainment, directed by Lindsay Hartley. It stars singer-songwriter and actress Ashlee Simpson, as well as Morgan Bradley and Doug Noble. The movie premieres November 24 as part of the streamer’s Movie Mall experience, which allows viewers to shop exclusive merchandise inspired by the film and special deals on featured QVC brand products.
